Summer coral, porcelain jasper, sapphire and brass coral pendant, ooak

A wonderful, unique pendant, featuring a stunning banded porcelain jasper.

The jasper hangs below a little piece of brass coral and is accented with two sparkling sapphires in shades of pink.

This porcelain jasper is so lovely! It is swirled in light pink, bright pink and white. It is a natural, untreated stone. I bought it from a local artist who had cut it himself.

I molded an actual piece of coral and had it cast in solid brass. The sapphires are pinned with sterling silver. I left the pins polished to a bright silver. The jasper is set in a hand fabricated sterling silver bezel. For added interest I gave the bezel a lightly hammered texture.

This is in a line of pinned coral with stones that I am creating. Each piece will be one of a kind, while i might do some similar, no two will be identical. You will receive the pictured pendant.

Brass will tarnish with age, just like silver does. It will attain spectacular dark patinas. If you prefer a bright finish just wipe it with a polishing cloth and the brightness will return.

Pendant measures 25mm by 15mm. Sapphires are approximately 2mm.

All findings are sterling silver, chain is 18" long.
