Mariposa, sterling silver winged fawn pendant, made to order

Mariposa is a fantastical creature, she was born with all the attributes of a normal forest deer, through a quirk of fate she also was given butterfly wings. Nothing pleases her more than galloping through the forest on her long graceful legs, leaping off of a steep cliff and gently floating along on a soft passing breeze.

I molded Mariposa from a vintage german toy. I then used some of my seaweed waxes to create little wings growing from her back. I love how well the textures work together!

I had her cast, then carefully polished her to bring up the high points. She is oxidized to a dark black finish.

This necklace is made to order, please allow 3-4 weeks for me to make it for you.

Mariposa measures 32 mm by 20 mm. (Approx 1 1/4" by 3/4")

She will come on a 16" chain, if you prefer a different length just let me know.
